Lawn moving ice cream

Tue, 22 Aug 2006 20:46 – No comments

Compared to jumping up and down while moving the lawn, eating ice cream is very nice.

Escape

Mon, 21 Aug 2006 16:24 – No comments

The incredulity of escape... it keeps people from realising the true potential of escape. Escape is helpful. Right now, I have several minutes in which I do not have to study, because I've have escaped to my fine little slog.

Books, movies, games, stories and much else is helpful, because they help you escape from the world for a little while. Not long enough to hurt small badgers that hide under bridges, but enough to make the mind relax.

It really, really rains now. Good thing the badgers have bridges, isn't it?

Of course, you don't have to have books and stuff to escape this world. All you need is a mind... Preferably your own. The mind can imagine some really cool stuff, you just have to let it wander. Well, mostly wander. A little nudge sometimes, a little pull sometimes, can do wonders. And don't think about the stuff you really have to do... that'll only make you tired. You can do that afterwards. Or tomorrow. Or later (but better do it before it's too late, or you might get into trouble, which will only make things more problematic).

Ah. That reminds me. There's something I should be doing.

The raining is almost over. It's much like it were when I started writing this entry. It was of course then not almost over, but it had barely begun. Oh, well.

Summer vacation is pretty much over for my part now. I'm back home and studies are closing in. Yadda yadda, yadda yadda. Ho ho ho. Merry Notfreemas.

Summer laziness

Sun, 2 Jul 2006 13:32 – No comments

Yah, it's summer and I'm even more lazy than I usually am.

Take it easy.

Old term confused

Mon, 15 May 2006 23:25 – No comments

Warrior of fortune? Or Fortunate warrior of hats? That's what I'd like to know. I think Fortunate warrior of hats is the real term, only now long since forgotten. Except by me, of course, who am rather special.

I also have recently become aware that the use of potatoes as scarecrows are rather less successful than some people think.

Mystery solved

Sun, 14 May 2006 22:17 – No comments

I've just figured out why people don't queue up to give me money. They simply doesn't like to queue.

Updates on the troop movements

Sun, 14 May 2006 03:24 – No comments

Remember the island from last post? (If not, look down). It's even cuter nowdays, see?

But that's not what I'm here to talk about. I'm here to talk about what I want you all to remember when the troops get here.
1) Don't spill your tea.
2) Don't wear your pyjamas backwards. Again. The troops will take this as an act of war, and they will open fire. We do not want that.
3) Don't volunteer opinions. Just reflect whatever opinions the troops seem to have.
4) Don't walk around without underwear. Again. I repeat, we do not want the troops to open fire.
5) If someone tells you to get a cup of tea from that tree over there, then do it. Don't claim that cups of tea do not grow on trees, because that's irrelevant.
6) It's also irrelevant whether or not you like to sunbath. If told to sunbath, you shall sunbath, and that's all there is to it.
7) Don't feed the troops trash while they're watching. Rather, try it when they look around for something. If you're lucky, they'll spot something and become surprised, and open their mouths. That's when to strike.
8) Never, ever, talk to trees unless the trees clearly has tea. I can't stress this enough. Talking to trees that do no have tea is an act of war.
9) Don't count to more than nine. The troops will otherwise become jealous, and who knows what will happen. If you're likely to count to more than nine by mistake, make sure you have some tea in your pocket to offer to whoever hears you.
9.1) Don't show cleverness. Cleverness is for hiding deep within you. Open cleverness is often fatal, but not quite as fatal as dumbassness.
9.2) Don't show dumbassness.
9.3) Don't wear a transparent skirt. Again. I repeat, we do not want the troops to open fire. We do not want a war today.
9.4) If you see a television set, ignore it. Being aware of the existence of tv sets is offence enough to grant punishment by death, or in some grave cases, being forced to watch public sunbathing areas.
9.5) Don't crawl around on the ground and act a snake unless specifically told to. Even then, hesitate a little to not give away that you enjoy it.
9.6) Don't use sarcasm if you're afraid the troops will catch on. They treat sarcasm with games of polo.
9.7) Don't offer your socks to the troops. They have previously become very confused by this, as they do not know what socks is, and they do weird things when confused.
9.8) Don't wear kilts and do backflips. Again. The troops will consider that an act of war, och will open fire. We do NOT want that.
9.9) If the troops for some reason open fire, be well prepared and stand behind the troops.

That's all for now.

Island

Fri, 5 May 2006 17:42 – No comments

I've made a pretty island. Oh yes, I have. Look at it. Isn't it cute?

More free games, yeah really!

Mon, 1 May 2006 12:49 – No comments

I've been busy with school and stuff lately, but this weekend, the 8th LD48h compo was held. Did I participate? Well, or course. I ended up with two games. One pretty unserious and another pretty pretty.

You can get them both. Or perhaps a screenshot is enough. I would also link my compo log and such, but I think a registration is needed to read it, so I won't.

Maybe I fix up the linux port later today, or tomorrow.

Edit: I've now uploaded the games on this server too.

Ketchup thieves!

Wed, 19 Apr 2006 16:47 – No comments

Yet again I'm facing trouble. My ketchup supplies are running low. This usually happens from time to time, but this time it's different. It's too soon. Indeed, I'm quite sure ketchup thieves has taken ketchup from me.

Ketchup thieving is a serious offence, and is also the eighth mortal sin (the first seven being ketchup fraud, ketchup abuse, ketchup hate, ketchup burning, ketchup hiding, catsup spelling, and pie dislike). But fear not, I've already called the Super Ketchup Brothers 3. I'm sure they're already out hunting these terrible thieves.

I'm Kcab

After lots of candy-eating, I'm back in Göteborg. So now it's studying time again. Ach.

El updateo

Tue, 4 Apr 2006 22:30 – No comments

Mwhahahaha! I've been ignoring you, oh yes I have.

Or rather I've been busy. With playing computer games, attending lectures, programming on a computer game, reading books, studying and stuff. There's lots of things I've not done much of lately. But I assure you, I'm acting pretty stupid, so there's no need to fear. Just the other day I was laughing my head off (not literally) over something that wasn't really that fun... actually, it was fun. Or so I thought. Very fun. Hehehe.. mwhahahahahahahahaha hahahahhaahah ahahahahahahhaaah... heh. aahh..

Failure

Wed, 22 Mar 2006 20:20 – No comments

I'm not quite sure today qualifies as 'tomorrow or so' five days ago, but whatever.

As of what would most certainly have qualifed as 'tomorrow or so' five days ago, I'm 22 years old. And during the past 22 years, I have totally failed to:

1. Take over the world
2. Become extremely rich

As those are the prime objectives of any human being, and as I've calculated that any decent human would have accomplished both by the age 21.96 years, it follows that I'm a failure as a human being.

No stupid? Who? Me?

Fri, 17 Mar 2006 22:14 – No comments

I've been smart enough (or not stupid enough) not to write anything the last two weeks or so. But fear not! I'm not usually that smart for very long.

The exams (those I'm going to mention, anyway) went fairly well. But it was just programming and math, so no big deal.

Then I suppose I must have done some stuff. And today I've travelled far and wide... well, travelled anyway.

I'll have something else to write tomorrow or so.

Mmm.. money would be nice

Mon, 6 Mar 2006 22:44 – No comments

I'm having two exams coming up the following days. I wonder if I could get a refund instead.

Dunno on what.

Photo of me ... run!

Mon, 6 Mar 2006 13:38 – No comments

I don't normally put photos of me on the web, but I think this photo is unrepresentative enough. Don't enjoy.

Muffin hugging

Sun, 5 Mar 2006 21:03 – No comments

- Hey, you! Stop hugging things.
- But I like hugging things.
- So? It's not natural, hugging chairs and doors and whatnot.
- That's not fair. I'm going to ... Hey, is that a muffin?
- Yes ... Stop hugging it!

Mmm... pie

Mon, 27 Feb 2006 21:14 – No comments

I ate a pie yesterday. I remember it as if it was yesterday. Mmm... pie.

DX-Ball victory

Sun, 26 Feb 2006 19:16 – No comments

Arrr. I've not played DX-Ball much the last bunch of years, only once a year or so. I played it today, though, and actually managed to complete it :) Never won it before, so that's nice. Guess I'm a bit late, but better late than never.
