Door

Thu, 7 Oct 2004 20:51 – No comments

- Tell me, where to does this door lead?
- Er, I, it goes, er, nowhere! It leads nowhere.
- Nowhere, eh? You mean that I would end up outside the universe, or something, if I walked through it?
- Er, yes. Yes, that's right. Er, you probably shouldn't try that, though.
- No?
- Er, because of the danger, yes?
- This sounds highly suspicious to me.
- Er, what? Why?
- A door leading nowhere? I mean, really, that's not very likely, is it?
- Er, I wouldn't know. Not me.
- No, maybe not. But I think you should let me through it.
- Er, really?
- Yes.
- Er, I ask, nay, pray you to reconsider. Please?
- No. I don't know what it is your're hiding, but I will find out. Open the door, and stand aside!
- Er, I, er, okay, er, right. There you go.
- Thank you. Now let's have a looaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggghhhh!
- Buggrit. I told him. And that's the third one this week, too.

The Lord of the Ducks

One Duck to rule them all,
   One Duck to find them,
One Duck to bring them all
and in the bathtub bind them.

An Adventurer is You!

Tue, 5 Oct 2004 20:02 – No comments

The Kingdom of Loathing is a truly enjoyable, webbased, (kind of) black and white, funny, free, entertaining, odd and comical RPG. You can play as such things as an Accordion Thief, a Turtle Tamer or a Pastamancer. It also limits the amount of adventuring you can do each day, so you won't end up spending all your time playing it, although you're going to want to.

And best of all: This entry is not a shameless plug. I'm, in fact, in no way affiliated with The Kingdom of Loathing. I only like to play it.

Going Postal

Mon, 4 Oct 2004 18:04 – No comments

I've now (24h ago) finished reading Going Postal by Terry Pratchett. It's a very good book.

Meep meep

Sun, 3 Oct 2004 20:30 – No comments

Hiya, longest shortage of messages ever experienced here have just occurred. How did you like it? Really? I didn't like it at all. But there are reasons behind this that you won't be told, and there are hidden depths in which fish might live. And so on.

More disturbing is the fact that I have not yet been sent a mail by Blizzard about a certain thing. But I do not fear ... yet.

And watch out for meerschaum.

I'm busy

Yess, I'm a bit busy. But you can watch this picture: max60sekpermin.jpg.

Happy monthday to my slog

Mon, 27 Sep 2004 18:24 – No comments

Yes, it's now a month since this slog first saw the world. Or possibly the other way around. Anyway, it's starting to get a bit crowded, so I'll have to add some kind of page system so that not all the messages are shown the whole time. But I won't add that right now.

Why I don't often draw comics

Sun, 26 Sep 2004 12:08 – No comments

The answer is here, a "comic" I did some time ago: whyidontdrawcomics.png. That's right, not very good. But at least the story is somewhat surrealistic, eh?

BOB goes math continued

Sat, 25 Sep 2004 17:56 – No comments

Here's another episode of the very popular (yeah) BOB goes math: BOB goes math #3. As before, BOB goes math is in Swedish.

Move time? Not yet, no.

Fri, 24 Sep 2004 20:21 – No comments

In December I'll be moving to another dwelling. Yes, that's very much in the future, but that doesn't matter, because I can see into the future... apparently.

DX-Ball failure

Thu, 23 Sep 2004 18:10 – No comments

I just lost DX-Ball at the last level but one, and it grieves me, as I've never won the game (lousy as I am). It was so very, very close... grrr.

Stupid padding

That's a bunny that won't be eaten in a hurry, that's for sure.

I'm tired.

Yarr!

Sun, 19 Sep 2004 19:51 – No comments

We will surely avoid scurvy if we all eat an orange.

New file, please?

Sat, 18 Sep 2004 13:09 – No comments

Heh, Windows have decided not to let me create new folders/files by right clicking and selected New->Thingy. The New menu item is gone. It doesn't exist in the popup menu anymore, nor does it in the File menu... it's all really sick. But there must be a fix (and with that I mean a more normal fix then adding a custom menu item myself, which in a way would be fun).

Gaargh.

Pie time

Thu, 16 Sep 2004 19:56 – No comments

There's a difference between finding the pie and eating it. I prefer eating it.

There's a conspiracy abroad

Wed, 15 Sep 2004 22:06 – No comments

Ever wondered what WWW is short for? Ever heard people tell you that it means World Wide Web? Well, it doesn't. It means World Wide War. There's a conspiracy abroad!

The Internet is nothing but a tool for the ones fighting in this war, and every time you enter www at the address bar in your browser, or in any other way end up visiting a web page served from a server with www in its address, then you're supporting and helping them.

Therefore, never visit such a web page! Don't support them! Many sites can be reached from both http://www.xyz123.com and http://xyz123.com, so always use the one without www! I believe I can trust you to do this, and help stopping this hidden war. Together we will make this world a better place. Thank you.

PS. This is a joke. (Or is it? *scary music*)

The seagull

Wed, 15 Sep 2004 13:55 – No comments

Once upon a time there was a mighty seagull, fairly white and barely bald. It had great wings, a hard beak and feathers you could only set fire to if you first drenched them in turpentine.

But all was not well for the seagull. Yes, that's right, there were rogues about, and their plan was to steal the seagull's treasures, eat his spawns and befeather him. Not very nice at all.

But what could the seagull do? His cellphone wasn't charged, nor was his plasma gun, and all his friends had left earlier for a party at the beach. He sincerely wished that he would have joined them, but now it was too late. The rogues were about.

He shuddered as he saw them coming towards him, and without thinking he stepped on the gas. He reached a decent speed soon enough, but as he swiftly peeked at the rear-view mirror, he saw that the rogues were gaining on him. His heart sank, and his fear grew worse. What was he to do?

When the rogues had reached him, he trembled in fear, and as the rogues borded, tears started to flow down his face, wetting his flamecoloured beak.

The rogues were shouting things like "Let's keelhaul him!", "Let's give him the crab box!", "That's a shiny boat, and no mistake!", "Let's make him walk the plank!", "Shiver my timbers!", "Hey, what are we, pirates?", "Shut up, you!" and "Let's club him like a baby seal!". This was all too much for the seagull, and his basic instincts took over, and he flew away.

The rogues watched him as he became smaller and smaller, until he was no more then a dot in the sky.

"Dang," one said. "That always happens."

Then they turned their boat around and went home.
