Blastup 2 Beta 1.8, 15/7 2004
- Added stereo support, or what you should call it...
- Added support for multiple weapons.
- Added new weapons:
- Bazooka (is now default weapon)
- Rocket launcher
- Rubber Duck
- Acid Covered Explosive
- Added new theme (misty).
- Added small arrows that show where things are above the screen.
- Added mouse support (mostly used in menus).
- Added ammo count config.
- Added a weapon selection menu. Press left mouse-button when you play to bring it up.
- Added a way of creating randomized computer players.
- Added the option "CPU friendly". It makes the game use less processor power at the
cost of a lower framerate.
- Added a "Introduction", "Command line arguments" and "The weapons" part in the readme.
- Now demomode uses randomized players.
- Now only checks whether keys are down or not when window is selected.
- Now there are different starting menus for normal/network games, and if you only
toggle one player when starting a normal game, the opponent will be a random CP.
- Now you can only use timed mode on grenades.
- Now you can turn off the menu sounds.
- Now you can toggle fullscreen using any Alt key.
- Updated the translocator (new gfx, changed friction etc).
- Expanded the dirty rectangle system quite a bit.
- Rewritten the ini-file system.
- Moved the config-inis from ini\ to ini\cfgs\ to prevent name conflicts.
- Changed the explosions a bit.

- Removed the save landscape bug.

- Removed the bug where the blastups were placed on the landscape when you quit a game.

- Fixed a bug that slowed down particles when game ran at high fps.
- "Fixed" a WinXP/FMod/DirectSound bug by adding the "Force waveOut" option.

Blastup 2 Beta 1.7b, 6/8 2002
- Fixed the all-black-thingy-bug with landscapes that appeared sometimes.
- Fixed the not staining when supposed to bug.
Blastup 2 Beta 1.7, 5/8 2002
- Added a gfx options menu for increasing performance on low end rigs (and increase gfx
effects on newer ones). You can now alter: Water detail, weater fx, blood level,
explosion details, tails, "damage fly away", nr of particles etc.
- Added a fanfare-thingy for the end
- Added tailes to the explosion particles
- Added smoke to explosions
- Added "real" demomode. Run blastup 2.exe with -demo ("blastup 2.exe" -demo [-ini file])
- Added more themes (beachnight, rainynight, snownight, hell)
- Added "Enter name or seed" options for the landscape menu. Very handy.
- Added support for .pngs as backgrounds/earth/levels (old themes must add TextureFlags=0
under [global]).
- Added a file checker thingy, so if you do not have same files as the master, then you
will download it.
- Changed "Player have 3 points" to "Player has 3 points" as it should be.
- Rewritten the particle system, so now I can add more weapons more easly.
- Made the chat/console availible in singleplayer for writing commands.
- Improved the stars a bit (some are biggers, and they twinkle (it may be hard to see))
- The computer does no longer change landscape more then once, and it does it more often.
- The theme name is now saved along with the landscape when saving (old saves still works)
- The amount of health lost does now "fly" away from the player...
- The blastup's speeds are is now affected a bit less by the explosions
- Removed annoying sounds when placing blastups

- Added a ping function. Press 'P' (in net mode).

Blastup 2 Beta 1.5, 8/3 2002
- Added some more colors
- Added network support. Play it by selecting one player instead of two when you start the
game. It is not tested very much yet, so please report any bugs you notice.
- Added support for .pngs using libpng
- Added limits for the landscape themes so that they can not crash the game (I hope).
- Added support for stars

- Added a "heal" option in the landscape selection menu

- You can now launch blastup with a specified ini-file ("blastup 2" -ini jolle),
and all your options will be saved in the specified ini instead of blastup 2.ini.
- Players can now choose a color (if you want to keep your old players.ini, then you
have to add Color=16777215 under each player)
- Particles are no longer affected by the wind. It didn't look good.
- Shots/Blood do no longer leave any particles if they are on the ground.
- The playertexts are now on screen more
Blastup 2 Beta 1.3, 13/1 2002
- Added support for fake bumpmapping/emboss on landscapes. All custom theme must be
updated! Add these two lines under [Earth]: "BumpScale=0" & "BumpExtraSmooth=0".
- Added support for . and : in texts

- Change wind between turns
- Translocator (with two new sounds)
- The input is now limited to 60 times/sec
- You can now hold down shift to aim/change values faster

- Timed particles now fade away
- Players and particles are now shown when game is paused
- Shots are shot a bit harder so watch your aim
- Computers aims is moving all the time now
- Nuke does no longer bail out when game is paused
- Force water even if it is not turned on for the theme
- Water is updated 30 times per second now instead of 25
- Waves are no longer too large and ugly if wind is set too high
- The wind bar is no longer shown when there is no wind
- Wind change between rounds even if you continue on the same landscape

a game if there isn't two yet.
- Menu system reprogrammed. Not really visible for users, but the code is
a bit cleaner and the menus.ini is removed. The menus are a bit faster,
and they also remember where you were
